One such is the Jama Masjid that was built by Shah Jahan in 17th Century AD. This mosque was built in the memory of Jahan Ara, the favorite daughter of Shah Jahan. Moti Masjid is another mosque that attracts tourists with its intricately designed prayer chamber. This monument exemplifies the finest craftsmanship of India.

Some other tourist places in Agra are Sikandra Fort, Bageshwarnath Temple, Jodha Bai Ka Rauza, the Octagonal Tower, Chini ka Rauza, Radha Swami Samadhi and Mehran Bagh. Out of all these, Sikandra Fort is very significant because it has the mausoleum of Emperor Akbar. This mausoleum depicts the blending of Hindu and Muslim architecture styles.
