Feria de las Flores or Spanish Festival of Flowers:

It includes flower parades, automobile parades, Paso Fino horse parade and many musical concerts. Historically, the flower parades during the course of the festival represented the end of slavery but in the present day, it showcases men, women and children carrying their silletas i.e. true works of art along the 2.2 kilometer parade route to decorate the artwork with gladiolus, chrysanthemums, lilies, carnations, agapanthus, pansies, sunflowers, orchids and numerous other flowers.
Festa da Flor:
This striking flower festival is held in the city of Funchal, the Madeira. This festival remarks the honoring of springtime like a queen, being crowned after Easter. It begins when thousands of children dressed in the appropriate manner assemble to the Praça do Município to take part in the building of a mural of flowers – the Wall of Hope. The festival also includes a flower parade wherein dozens of floats adorned with a countless flowers leave the scents and perfumes in the air.
